A huge congratulations to Freddie Langdell, a homegrown talent from St Brendan’s GAA Birmingham, who has added another incredible achievement to his growing list. Freddie was the only player from St Brendan’s to compete in this year’s Corn na MacLeinn Cup, and he did not disappoint.

Representing St Brendan’s GAA Birmingham on the Big Stage

Representing Liverpool GAA University, Freddie played a key role as they faced off against New York GAA in Dublin. The team produced a strong performance, and their determination paid off as they lifted the Corn na MacLeinn Cup, one of the most prestigious competitions in inter-university Gaelic football.

A Homegrown Success Story

Freddie’s journey, from underage football at St Brendan’s GAA Birmingham to competing and winning at a high level, is a brilliant example of the pathway within our club. His success reflects the strength of our underage system and the commitment of players who continue to develop their game.

He is a fantastic representative of what makes our Gaelic football club in Birmingham so special, dedication, hard work, and a real passion for the game.

Proud Moments for the Saints

We’re incredibly proud to see one of our own achieving success on such a stage and representing St Brendan’s in Dublin. Achievements like this inspire the next generation of players coming through the club.
